2021 Christmas

Merry Christmas friends!  I think this Christmas was one of my favorites to date.  It took us all a while to flip into the Christmas spirit but when we did it was wonderful!

We had a crazy month leading up to the holiday with travel for Thanksgiving, a job change, basketball season in full swing for all the boys in the house and wild stormy weather!

We got our tree from Dull's again this year, which is just always so cozy and magical.  We have cut our tree down the last two years and had so much fun scouring the fields for the perfect one!

We also were able to see Santa at Sullivan's again this year!  We went at night after dinner and that was so much fun, I think we'll keep going later!  SO much magic, twinkle lights and holiday cheer!

We also were able to go to so many holiday parties since my work schedule has changed!  We did gingerbread houses with our besties from Columbus and our best neighbors, went to a Bryan and Abby's 12th annual Christmas party (for our first time), had favorite things parties with neighbors, cookies with Grammy and more!  That was a new fun experience, doing all those things together as a family!

Uncle Joe and Aunt Hannie flew in on the 18th and we had an amazing weekend with them!  Movies, basketball games, brunch, Noah Grant's and tons of late night chats!  Then we had an awesome Christmas with the Yaraschefskis, steaks, games, gifts and a cousin's slumber party!

Christmas Eve Dave and I greeted at church at the 3 p.m. service and then went to the 5 p.m.  It was a beautiful service, lots of worship and a beautiful candlelight ending like usual.

We came home and had spaghetti and garlic bread and made Santa cookies!  We opened our matching family jammies, which for the first time ever, everyone liked!  We got all cozy, watched a movie, worked on a puzzle, and tracked Santa on the NORAD tracker.  It was a cozy, calm night by the fire with so much anticipation, joy and love.  One of my favorite nights I can remember.

Santa came and delivered big time!  Trampoline, barbie house, BMX bike, football cards! We opened the rest of our presents and then relaxed and jumped :)  We had Christmas with my family that afternoon, more good food, thoughtful gifts and family time!

What an amazing Christmas filled with sweet magical moments. These are the times that make everything worth it!
