Tomorrow!
Baby Boy,
You will be here tomorrow! We can't believe it. Your due date is still a week away, but they decided it would be best to induce you early because my blood pressure has been high, and you are clearly done baking! I even had a nurse tell me it felt like I had a moose in my stomach. Take that as a complement that you are a big healthy baby!
We can't wait to meet you, finally! We have thought so much about this day, and the kind of family we want to have, but it's so different to know that all of that will actually start tomorrow! A bit overwhelming and slightly terrifying, but mostly really, really exciting!
Tonight we're going out to a nice dinner, taking Dexter (your furry big brother, you know, you've heard him barking) for a long walk, and then going to enjoy our last baby-less night with some movies and ice cream! No offense, but you'll probably be keeping us up for a while. Unless you sleep like your dad, in which case we'll be getting full nights sleep in a week or two! That option is fine as well, in case you are still figuring out what type of baby you want to be.
We can't wait to meet you, hold you, and see your sweet little face! Be easy on us tomorrow big guy!
