Sydney = 3 months
Sydney, sydney - you sweet 3 month old. This was a bitter sweet month for me! My last month home from maternity leave but so full of fun things. You love being outside, had your first family trip to Michigan over the 4th of July which included a boat ride, lots of sunshine and cousin time and fireworks.
You are still sleeping about the same, from 9 p.m. to 5 or 6 a.m. But, you are in your crib now (well before your brothers)! You are growing like a weed! Started the month in 3 month clothes and ended in 6 to 12 month clothes.
You are starting to smile (crookedly) and interact more, wriggling around on your play mat and hitting your hanging things. You also went to the church nursery for the first time, sat in your bumbo for the first time and visited the Lebanon water park (which is a favorite of your brothers).
I went back to work at the end of the month and let me tell you, that was rough. Trying to balance pumping, breast feeding, bottle feeding, plus much more time away from each other was to be honest, awful. To top it off, daddy went on a 5 day trip and you woke up 3-5 times a night the whole time he was gone. Needless to say, I pumped a few more days and nursing was done after that!
