Eli = 4 Months
Ok friends, here I go. Playing blog catch up. As per usual I guess. Let's see, Eli was four months on 1/2/2015.
He is still an absolute joy, and is such a happy baby with big blue eyes and dimples that will melt your heart! Unfortunately his 4th month was a rough one! He battled colds on and off, had his first bout of the stomach flu and his sleep was ALL sorts of messed up due to the above. When he had his stomach flu he couldn't eat much at a time, and was back to almost newborn status, eating every three hours or so, all hours of the day and night. Days were better, but overall, it was a pretty rough month for this little one.
Weight: 16 lbs 9.2 oz (72nd percentile)
Length: 26.25" (89th percentile)
Head Circumference: 42 cm (59th percentile)
He didn't gain much weight between three months and four, and was still spitting up a lot so we are looking forward to his ENT appointment (which got moved) to see if laryngomalacia could be affecting that at all.
But, on the bright side, this month was our sweet boy's first Christmas and New Year's!
Getting our tree/nap time!
Santa!! I know him! Christmas Eve.

We continued to see him work on rolling over; he made it from his belly over to his back, but is still just rolling up on each side, not quite making it all the way over. Tummy time is definitely not his favorite.
He also loves his playmat and is starting to be even more purposeful in hitting and kicking the hanging toys. He loves to watch shows with his big brother, and my favorite part of the day is snuggling both of them on the couch after breakfast.
Also, I stopped breastfeeding this month. It was really hard for me, and I was not ready, but I just couldn't make enough/pump enough to feed Eli, and with the craziness of a new job and how busy we have been, I just made the decision that it was time to stop. It was not a fun decision, especially since I made it to 10.5 months with Luke, but what can you do. Life is much different this time around!
We love you our sweet Eli!
